After a few try outs I settled on this. A very rough plan. Area with question mark is still being considered. I am hoping when I start working on the final piece inspiration will fall from the sky! I intend on painting on textured plaster spreading it in different directions to create some movement. Will use layers of colour.

    Lovely Lorraine, already has a Monet look!   Very well thought out groups of plants.

    This looks full of promise Laraine, such a thoroughly well considered plan. I can recognise aspects of your garden and aspects of Klimt’s combined in an exciting original way which is perfect. 

    My immediate thought with your mystery space is that it should provide just that- space! In a similar fashion to the grass in the Klimt piece we both copied where it balanced the business of the the flower beds and bushes. But at any rate you can consider this as you develop the rest of the piece and don’t need to know at the outset.

    Looking forward to seeing this piece evolve- do post photos of it in progress! Enjoy it.
