    Gorgeous studies -did you get to do them outside or were you confined by the rain? Really beautifully collected and observed, with a little context for each and smart choices of media. I look forward to seeing which of these are incorporated into the final Garden Patchwork piece when you come to it.

    I'm afraid it was wet, so I grabbed a few shots and did most of the sketches indoors, apart from the blackbirds that I could see through the window.
